Nordica Sentra SL7 Ti EVO review 2018

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

Tested a bit short in this category (156cm for 165cm requested), the Sentra SL7 Ti Evo is an excellent touring ski, but unfortunately is not versatile/nimble enough to do well in this Top-of-the-Range Female category. It's amazingly simple to use, consistent in skid turns, and rotation is a piece of cake. On the other hand, it’s a lot more challenging when we step up the pace: it loses stability and pressure when you increase the speed, and doesn’t particularly enjoy carving. Recommended for good riders looking for facility and comfort.

Review: Pros

  • User-friendly
  • Smooth in skid turns
  • Nimble until you reach medium speeds
  • Very enjoyable in soft snow
  • Comfort and overall fun

Review: Cons

  • Very happy in skid turns, the ski finds carving more challenging
  • Loss of pressure and stability at high speed
