Dynastar Elite Light review 2014

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

Easy and comfortable in skids at medium speeds, the Elite Light is far less comfortable once you begin to hot up the pace. This is a good model for beginner to intermediate riders who mainly want to develop their skidded turns.

Review: Pros

  • The Elite Light is a treat in short turns at low speed. This light and responsive ski is a doddle in turn initiation. Skidded turns are both easy and enjoyable.

Review: Cons

  • The ski has serious difficulty in carving as turn control is far from certain with frequent loss of grip.

Manufacturer's remarks

The women's Elite Light model is designed for very good riders who enjoy the piste and speed above all.
The Elite Light is a ski with the stability and precision of a racing ski and the light weight of a cross-country ski (1800g). The combination of know-how makes it quite unique. Its medium radius ensures excellent stability at high speeds and strong grip in turns. Expert riders looking for strong sensations and challenge will adopt it straightaway!
