Scott Maya review 2013
Women's skis 2013 > Women's advanced Best ski 2013
The testers favourite for 2013, the Scott Maya is an excellent Advanced ski, which is both versatile and impressive, enjoyable and playful. It's a very good choice for both good and very good skiers looking for a one-quiver ski that is fluid and enjoyable in all conditions.
"A very good ski for this category" according to one of our testers. The ski perfectly matches the Women's Advanced category criteria, as we're looking, above all, for a well-balanced, versatile and comfortable ski. The Attraxion 8 Echo is designed for intermediate to good female skiers, with the focus on ease of use.
The Elan Insomnia is a ski for intermediate skiers or even beginners who are looking for comfort and facility.
The Blizzard Utra Sonic is a technical and enjoybale ski for good to very good, sports-oriented skiers, who're looking for high performance. Despite its qualities, it lacks the accessibility, comfort and versatility that's the trademark of the Advanced category.
We were unable to get a unanimous opinion of the Exclusive Elite Light from the reviewers. Some of them found it easy to handle and a good performer, while others were disappointed by the uneven performance in turn initiation and edge control. Best to try out this ski first before buying.
