Völkl Adora review 2016
Women's skis 2016 > Intermediate women's cruisers Best ski 2016
While it already scored high in last year’s ProSkiLab™ reviews, this year’s model takes first place on the podium. The Spirit Motion from Stöckli is a good ski for beginners as it’s incredibly intuitive and easy to handle. However, it’s more limited performance-wise than the Adora. It’s an excellent ski for riders looking above all for pleasure and user-friendliness.
Like the Spirit Motion, the Rossignol Unique 6 is a ski that is perfect for beginners and learners who can just about manage and are mainly looking for facility and comfort. In this respect, the ski is remarkable and forgives (almost) all mistakes. However, like its rival, performance remains limited and it's unlikely to help the rider to make more technical progress towards carved turns.
More physically and technically demanding than its rivals, Elan’s Inspire is nonetheless a good ski that we recommend for more athletic riders with good carving skills. Other riders will prefer a more accessible and lighter model.
While remaining correct, the ProSkiLab™ reviewers were somewhat taken aback by its overall performance, which they put down to a problem of preparation. We need to test it again next year.
The ProSkiLab™ reviewers were divided over the Glory 59. Some of them loved it for its user-friendliness and its overall enjoyableness and satisfaction. Others were bothered by the rocker and the wide and flexible tip, and noted the lack of stability. We suggest you try it before buying.
