Head i SL review 2015
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
The Head i SL is not sufficiently focused on performance to rank high in this category. It would probably have done far better in the High End Piste category. It remains an excellent ski, particularly enjoyable and smooth on soft snow, happy carving the slopes, and is best for intermediate to good skiers that want pleasure and accessibility before pure performance.
Review: Pros
- Very enjoyable, gentle, smooth ski, especially up to and including intermediary speeds
- Easy transition from carving to skid turns
- Easy to handle
- Good carving qualities
Review: Cons
- A flexible ski that lacks the energy needed for the “Slalom" programme
- Slight lack of pressure in very dynamic turns
- Loses precision at high speed

Manufacturer's remarks
WCR skis are the key to performance. Their specific sandwich construction and their piezoelectric application make it a true competition ski. Incorporating the Kers piezoelectric technology, the ski retains the energy created by the speed which it releases at the end of each turn.
