Head i Speed review 2015

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

According to one of the reviewers, it’s like being on a ‘rail’. The i Speed is a true giant ski, and is remarkably stable and incisive. Despite its rigid tail that inconvenienced some of the lighter reviewers, the i Speed will suit heavier excellent skiers and competitors.

Review: Pros

  • Stable and incisive with good grip
  • Responsive to edge change
  • Behaves well in long turns

Review: Cons

  • The ski’s tail is a bit rigid, which makes it more difficult to exit skid turns, particularly for smaller riders.

Manufacturer's remarks

The WCR skis provide the key to performance. Their specific sandwich construction and their piezoelectric application make it a true competition ski. Incorporating the Kers piezoelectric technology, the ski retains the energy created by the speed which it releases at the end of each turn.
