Rossignol S 80 review 2011
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
A good all-rounder, the Rossignol S80 is easy to handle, enjoyable and stable. It's a very good all-terrain ski, excellent for intermediary skiers and for vesatile on-piste skiing, yet equally at ease off the beaten tracks. This relatively flexible ski is better for lighter and average frames, and for skilled female skiers.
Review: Pros
- You'll be surprised at how easy the Rossignol S80 is to handle and its accessibility. On the piste, the ski is well-balanced, reassuring, manoeuverable and globally enjoyable. Its versatility is a major advantage: it will carve, skid, slip and slide as and when the skier wishes. It handles well in freeride and is highly adaptable in all types of terrain.
Review: Cons
- Relatively flexible, with a focus on accessibility and comfort, the S80's performance is nontheless limited. When "pushed", the ski reaches its limits pretty quickly, particularly at high speed on packed snow.
