Fischer Progressor F18 review 2016
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
Unfortunately the ski tested was not the right size. The Fisher Progressor 18’s lack of performance and consistency means that it failed to score high in this category.
It’s a shame as the ski has lots of real qualities. Smaller and average sized riders in particular who love turns (small turns and short swings) without pushing it too much. We would like to review it again next year in a bigger size.
Review: Pros
- Highly accessible
- Easy to handle and especially enjoyable in short turns
- Instinctive turn initiation
- Comfortable in most turns as long as you don’t push it too hard
- Good carving performance
Review: Cons
- This relatively flexible ski was tested too short (167cm)
- Disappointing performance partly due to the size of the model tested and its flexibility
- Lacks stability
- Could do with more grip
- Not at ease in long turns or at high speeds
- Unsteady in turns when pushed harder

Manufacturer's remarks
The ideal mate to take on the groomers.
Designed for proficient skiers who love speed but also want to just enjoy the views from time to time.
Improved performance in every type of turn thanks to the Razorshape geometry.
Particularly light thanks to the Air Tec technology.
