Elan GSX Race review 2013

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

The Elan GSX Race is a very good ski for expert, technical and aggressive skiers who enjoy smooth long turns on groomed runs.

Review: Pros

  • The GSX Race is a very high-performance ski with all the qualities of a slalom ski. Extremely comfortable in long turns, it offers irreproachable stability and edge control. Once in a turn, the ski doesn't flinch..."on rails" as the reviewers might say.

Review: Cons

  • The ski requires concentration and technical prowess, and is pretty unforgiving. It's less versatile than some of its rivals like the Rossignol, for instance. At times, it gives an impression of heaviness and inertia.
