Dynastar Course Pro review 2016

AWARD
Best Accessibility/Performance!

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

An excellent ski that stands out for Dynastar’s perfect compromise between accessibility and performance. It ranks halfway between two other excellent skis in 2016: the more racing oriented Dobermann and the more intuitive Hero Master.
An excellent choice for good to expert skiers who want to hit the slopes hard without the demands made by a true racing ski.

Review: Pros

  • Excellent compromise between accessibility and performance
  • A very lively and dynamic ski
  • Fast and very precise turn initiation
  • Unwavering hold
  • Good flex distribution that promotes turn control, judged excellent by the reviewers

Review: Cons

  • Less accessible and intuitive than the Hero Master
  • Unsurprisingly, a bit more physical in short turns
  • Requires some physical engagement and good positioning

Manufacturer's remarks

As much power as you could wish for. Long –but not too long- radius, wood/titanal sandwich structure, Race plate: the COURSE PRO TI (R21 RACING) is a pure racing style ski that has inherited all the know-how of winning skis in Men’s Skicross and Women’s downhill from the last Olympic Games.
Discover the sensations of racing in your first Giant tracks and enjoy the best slopes on the planet sur with the same pair of skis? That’s the balance struck by the spearhead of the new Race Performance line, thanks to a new structure and edges adapted for expert skiers who don’t necessarily want to compete.
