While it's easy to use, highly enjoyable, and especially good in carved turns, the Pursuit Ti lacks the versatility required for the Advanced programme. We would still recommend this ski for average to good skiers who're looking for an easy and comfortable ski so they can perfect their carving technique and carve out fluid turns on the slopes.

Review: Pros

• Light and manoevrable, the Rossignol Pursuit Ti is a good performer, especially in carved turns. Thanks to its very centrally placed bindings (closer to the front of the ski), it's very easy to initiate and hold turns, something that it does particularly well. The position of the bindings also means that it's more forgiving if the rider is too far foreward or too far back on the ski.

Review: Cons

• The ski performs less well in skids, probably because of the foreward positioning of the bindings and longer heel (back of the ski). The shorter ski front may faze experienced skiers, used to playing with the foreward pressure.
